In this course you can learn everything about designing, writing, drawing, laying out and designing comics. In the end, you’ll have your own comic in your hands!

In this course, you’ll learn all the secrets to becoming a comic book legend in just three months!
Week 1: What are comics actually?
Get ready to explore the exciting world of comics! From superheroes to space adventures – let’s start by learning and discovering together.
Week 2: Learn to draw figures step by step
Together we’ll start creating your own characters – from brave heroes to mischievous villains. With a few techniques and a pinch of imagination, you’ll bring your sketches to life like never before!
Week 3: Playfully create storyboards
Who says storytelling has to be boring? Get ready to write your own epic adventures, full of twists, turns and breathtaking surprises!
Week 4: Page design and speech bubbles
The power of panels is in your hands as we learn how to design your comic pages like a pro. With a few simple tricks,
you’ll captivate your readers!
Week 5: Coloring and Color design
Grab your markers and let’s add some colour to your comics! From colourful costumes to dazzling backgrounds, your artwork will pop off the page like never before!
Week 6: Dramaturgy – how do I tell a good story?
Get ready for action-packed scenes that will take your readers’ breath away! Whether it’s a daring escape or a dramatic showdown, you’ll learn how to capture every emotional moment!
Week 7: Building your comic world and background design
Now you’re ready to create your own world.
From towering skyscrapers to mysterious dungeons.
With a few strokes of the pen, you can create a universe that’s all your own!
Week 8: Aargh, Bumm, Swoosh! Writing Text effects
Who says writing isn’t fun? Learn how to write dialogue that crackles with energy and sound effects that bring your comics to life!
Week 9: Lettering and layout
We put it all together with great lettering and layout techniques! With a little creativity, your comic pages will become works of art
Week 10 und 11: Finishing touches and final preparations
Get ready to share your comics with the world! Whether it’s with friends, family or other comic artists, there’s nothing more exciting than seeing your creations come to life!

The cost of a course is only 395,- €
Register for either the Friday course OR the Sunday course! Missed dates cannot be refunded. Total amount due upon registration.
